ROBERT ALLAN LAVALLEY

Robert A. LaValley, age 76, formerly of Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2019.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Robert "Bob" LaValley was born on October 29, 1942 in Boston Massachusetts. He was the son of John W. LaValley Sr. and Mary E. (Maxim) LaValley. Growing up, Bob had three brothers, John, Neil, and Frank, and one sister, Shirley. Bob also had two brothers, Joe and Bill, and two sisters, Carol and Linda from his birthmother.

After graduating high school, Bob entered the work force. On September 14, 1963 he was joined in marriage with his wife Ann (Tatarian) LaValley. Together they were blessed with two sons, Bob and Kevin. Throughout life Bob was no stranger to sports, especially Boston sports. For a long time, he coached youth baseball and football. He loved to watch NASCAR, and when he could he loved to be by the ocean. Bob was a member of the Elk's Lodge #1014 and for twenty-five years was a foreman for Leaven's Manufacturing.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary LaValley; brother John LaValley; brother Neil LaValley; sister Shirley Lovering; brother Frank LaValley; sister Carol Durant; and brother Joe Emerson.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Ann LaValley; two sons, Bob LaValley Jr. (Laurie) and Kevin LaValley (Tracy); brother William Emerson; sister Linda Boettger (Peter); and three grandchildren, Samantha, Joshua and Daniel.
