ROBERT "BOB" L. WALKER

Robert "Bob" L. Walker, 89, of Peculiar, MO, passed away October 27, 2018.

A Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Cullen Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.

Bob was born on September 3, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Edward Walker and Violet Petro.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and on the first day of August in 1954 received the honorable rank of Sergeant.

He was self-employed with business interests in real estate, home building, and general contracting. He loved working with his heavy equipment.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Walker and Violet Johnson; and brother James A. Reed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Violet Walker; son Derek of the home; daughter Kathy Sparrow (Larry); two grandchildren, Bob Roth and Andrea Turner (Lee); and two great grandchildren, Zach and Katelyn Turner.
