ROBERT "BOB" L. LOWE

Robert "Bob" L. Lowe, age 76, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away, February 16, 2018, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Celebration of Life Service will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, at Abundant Life Baptist Church. Inurnment service with honors will take place at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be given to the Abundant Life Food Pantry, 414 SW Persels Rd., Lee's Summit, Missouri 64081.

Bob was born May 2, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Thomas E. Lowe and Mildred M. (Haynes) Lowe.

During June of 1959, Bob entered into the U.S. Navy and selflessly served his country.
After six years of service, Bob went on to become a firefighter and eventually retired as Fire Chief after 35 years.

On September 3, 1994, Bob was united in marriage to Kathy L. Claussen. Together, Bob and Kathy shared over 23 years of memories.

Bob was a member of the Abundant Life Baptist Church in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mildred Lowe; and his sister, Virginia Borba.

Bob is survived by his wife, Kathy L. Lowe; two daughters, Jennifer Vacca (husband, Stacy), and Rachel Swigert (husband, Steve); his siblings, Doug Lowe (Barbara Jane), Cindy Matthews, Kathy Vasquez, and Patricia Burghardt; four grandchildren, Hailey, Sami (husband, Jesse), Levi, and Krista; and one great-granddaughter, Kaydence.
