ROBERT W. KATES
Robert W. Kates, 61, of Belton, MO passed away January 25, 2014 at his home. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Cullen Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100 Kansas City, MO 64114. Robert was born April 23, 1952 in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Archie and Leta McDonald Kates. Robert was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Suzan Hoffman of 18 years; mother, Leta Kates; sons, Robbie, Daniel, Joe and Tony Kates; daughter, Michelle Drummond; sisters, Brenda McQueen and Sharon Sharts; 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
