ROBERT E. ARMSTRONG

Robert E. Armstrong, age 80, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away October 24, 2016, at his home, surrounded by the love of his family. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Friday, October 28 at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, Missouri.

Robert was born November 22, 1935 in Spiro, Oklahoma. He was the son of Charles and Reba (Broom) Armstrong. On November 2, 1958, Robert was united in marriage with June Chadwell, and to this union two sons were born, Randy Lee and Robert Dean.
Robert proudly served his country in the Air Force for 10 years. He went on to work as a salesman for Rivard Sales Company for over 36 years.

Robert loved his family and with them he enjoyed traveling the world, fishing, and boating on the family pontoon boat that held over 30 years of memories. It has been said that Robert never knew a stranger as he cared greatly for others. His kind heart could also be seen in his love for animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, June Armstrong; his sons, Randy Lee Armstrong (Gwen) and Robert Dean Armstrong (Kathy); four grandchildren, Kelsey Hall (Brance), Victoria Leigh, Samantha and Ivan Armstrong; and one great-grandchild, William Lee Hall.
