IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rita Jo
Stehle
December 20, 1948 – July 9, 2020
RITA STEHLE
Rita Stehle, age 71, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.
Rita was born to Joseph Miller and Lorene (Jackson) Miller on December 20, 1948 in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Early in life Rita was fearless and spontaneous. She would jump in her car by herself and travel across the country. In life she was blessed with four children, Michelle, Gary, Tammy, and Mel. In years later she entered into marriage with her husband John Stehle and together they have shared forty-two years of marriage.
Rita was the "neighborhood mom." To everyone she encountered, she was a very loving, caring, sharing, and spiritual person. Her family will remember her as the life of the party, always making huge meals and decorating the house for the holidays. An amazing mother, wife, friend, happy, cheerful, and always going above and beyond to help others. Rita enjoyed doing crafts and playing games on her tablet. She woke up every day thanking Jesus for blessing her with another. Rita will always be remembered for her silly comments and always telling it like it is; straight up blunt.
Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Lorene Lippert and Joseph Miller; three siblings, Brenda Wadel, Herbie Lippert, and Thomas Miller; two children, Michelle Borror and Gary Pergler; and grandchild, Chevy Pergler.
She leaves behind her loving husband of over forty-two years, John Stehle; daughter Tammy Wilson; and son Mel Pergler; six siblings, Sue Armentrout, Wilma Weberling Pipke, Laura Harding, Wanda Miller, Barb Miller, and Ed Miller; eleven grandchildren, John Borror, Scott Pergler, Brittany Fischer, Tiffany Fischer, Michelle Pergler, Joshua Pergler, Chris Pergler, Mia, Justin, Ava, and Boston Gates; and five great grandchildren, Jace, Brian, Silas, Braxton, and Daniel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the St. Luke's Cancer Specialists-East, 110 NE St. Luke's Blvd Ste 500, Lee's Summit, Missouri 64086.
