RICKEY "RIC" D. DECKER
Rickey "Ric" D. Decker, 69, of Raymore, MO passed peacefully on April 25th, 2015 at Kansas City Hospice House. Ric was born June 21, 1945 in Hammond, Indiana, the son of Vernon and Marie Diehl Decker who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Decker of 31 years; Daughter, Morgan Decker; Mother In-Law, Rosamond Banfield; Uncle, Don Diehl and wife Marilyn; Aunt, Barbara Grimshaw and husband Bob; Aunt, Shirley Stone; Good Friend, Jeff Perkins, who was like a son to him; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Ric's achievements spanned 69 years of life and among those achievements his life was fulfilled with the birth of his daughter who brought him such joy. Music was also a significant part of his life, from a young man playing music to his time at Wurlitzer. Ric was an accomplished musician who blessed his family and friends with his immense talent. He was a caring and compassionate man who will be dearly missed. Having had Cerebral Palsy from birth, his body is now free and resting in peace; praise God.
