Rick W. Williams, 51, of Raymore, Missouri passed away October 7, 2010. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2010 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Lee's Summit, MO with visitation 5-7 PM. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in Washburn Prairie Cemetery, Washburn, MO. Rick was born October 28, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Otis and Beatrice Summerall Williams. He is survived by his wife Sherri of 23 years; 2 daughters, Stephanie and Emily Williams; adopted parents, Rev.Paul and Sandy Soukup; siblings, Rev.Steve and Ellen Soukup, Rev.Tim and Gretchen Soukup, Tom and Robin Soukup, Chris and Marysia Soukup, Kara and Rev.Chris Schroeder. Rick was a graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School and attended Pittsburg State University. Rick was an avid bowler with several 300 games and loved the Dallas Cowboys. Rick was a long time member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Overland Park, Kansas and current member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Mercy Hospital.
