RICHARD WAYNE STRATTON

Richard "Dick" or "Bad Santa" W. Stratton, age 68, of Holden, Missouri, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 1, 2018 of natural causes.

Richard was born on November 5, 1949 in Sedalia, Missouri. He was the son of Tilman C. Stratton and Venita Jean Tucker.

Richard loved watching the Chiefs dominate the division and riding his Harley Davidson. He was excellent with building things and had a big heart. His signature item was wooden rocking Harley's, one of which he donated to be raffled to benefit a cancer patient.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents Tilman "Chuck" and Mary Alys Stratton, and Venita Towles.

He is survived by his children Sarina Rail (Philip) of Houston, Texas and Anthony Stratton (Amber) of Raymore, Missouri; step-father Chet Towles; brothers Ronald Stratton (Gail) of Anoka, Minnesota and Randal Stratton (Hui) of Greensville, Texas; sister Sherry Boyd (Keith) of Daytona Beach, Florida; grandchildren Emaree Rail, Eva Rail, Clayton Rail, Carter Rail, Cassius Stratton, Danielle Gibbs, and Reid Stratton; and other nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held at a later date.
