RICHARD D. MICKELSON
Richard D. Mickelson, 77, of Raymore, MO, passed away April 4, 2012 at Lees Summit Medical Center. Private family services. Memorial contributions may be made to HELP Humane Society 511 Main St. Belton, MO., 64012. Richard was born February 23, 1935, in Wheeler Co., Nebraska, the son of Harold Lawrence and Alice Blanche DuRoy. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Patricia Mickelson. Richard is survived by his wife Mary; sons, Dennis (Tammy), Daniel (Levata), Richard and James Mickelson; daughters, Gail Dunn and Karen Margo; stepchildren, William (Mari), James, David (Melanie), and Alan (Margaret) Rieken; sixteen grandchildren and twelve step grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Richard was a Navy Veteran who earned the Medal of National Defense.
