DR. RICHARD G. MILLER

Dr. Richard Greg "Rick" Miller, age 52, died from natural causes at his home in Pennsylvania on August 18, 2016. He grew up in Raytown, graduating from Raytown South High School in 1982. While attending the University of Missouri, he met his future wife, Yuphan, a Chemistry student from Thailand. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in 1995, accepted a position with Toshiba, and moved to Bangkok. Later he brought his family to this country and settled down in Pennsylvania Amish country.

Survivors include his daughters, Katrina and Tabitha; parents, Don and Francine Miller of Raymore, MO; brother, Paul (Theresa) Miller of Fairfax, CA; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM, on September 10, 2016 at Cullen Funeral Home in Raymore, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
