RICHARD LEON BRUNO

Richard "Dick" Leon Bruno, age 84 of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Dick will be laid to rest at Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Dick was born in Bevier, Missouri on June 13, 1941 to Domenic and Mable (Phipps) Bruno. Dick graduated from Bevier High School and immediately entered the workforce. For many years, he worked as a baker for Safeway. In life Dick was a simple man, enjoying the small things in life. He loved his cars and traveling with his late wife, Avis Hope Bruno.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Domenic and Mable Bruno; loving wife, Avis Hope Bruno; and six siblings, Joe Bruno, Russell Bruno, Virginia Hall, Charlie Bruno, Domenic Bruno, and Paul Bruno.

He survived by his brother, Dale Bruno (Judy); two sisters in law, Patricia Sawtelle (Ray) and Andy Guiou; and his nephew, Mark Bruno (Melissa) and their children, Morgan Nelson (Grant), Molly Bruno, Mallory Bruno, and Mason Bruno.
