Reva Kathleen Zornes, 89, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.  Kathleen was born on June 8, 1934 in Loeffler (Adair County), Missouri, the youngest daughter of Roy and Lelia Montgomery Terrell.

Kathleen was raised outside Kirksville, Missouri and moved to Kansas City after high school where she met and married Dale Zornes on January 29, 1955. Kathleen began her career with the Internal Revenue Service in 1965 until she retired in 1997.  After the IRS, she enjoyed working at the Cass County Public Library in Belton, Missouri until she retired from there in 2014.

Kathleen enjoyed baking, cooking and hosting family get-togethers. She loved traveling with family and friends and was always looking forward to the next trip.  Kathleen was a long-time member of the South Haven Baptist Church in Belton, Missouri where she was well known for her cinnamon rolls and pies.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years on November 9, 2012.  Also preceding her in death was her brother and sister-in-law Howard and Inez Terrell, sister and brother-in-law Lola and Bill Mulford, brother and sister-in-law Edgar and Phyllis Terrell, sister and brother-in-law Crystal and Leland O'Brien, and son-in-law Richard Krupco.

Kathleen is survived by her children Connie Krupco of Leawood, Kansas, Janice (Brad) Mitchell of Kansas City, Missouri, Shirley Hoover of Raymore, Missouri and Jeff (Cathy) Zornes of Lee's Summit, Missouri; her grandchildren Bradley (Nicole) Hoover, Christina (Joshua) Lindsay, Andy (Alana) Hoover, Maggie (Nick) Jacobs, Scott (Mikayla) Hoover, Rachel (Dan) Mayer, Amanda (John) Stork, Matt (Lauren) Mitchell and Laney Zornes; and her great-grandchildren Emma Ferguson, Sophia Lindsay, Bella Lindsay, Jameson Lindsay, Isaac Zornes, Deacon Jacobs, Everly Jacobs, Tony Franklin, Avrey Franklin, Corwin Hoover, Paige Hoover, Parker Hoover, Benton Mitchell, Jackson Stork and Henry Stork.

Services will be held on December 15, 2023 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Drive, Raymore, Missouri.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow the service at Raymore Cemetery, 515 S. Aspen Drive, Raymore, Missouri.  Immediately following, please join us for lunch at Creekmoor Golf Club, 1112 E. 163rd Street, Raymore, Missouri.
