RAYMOND F. HAGEDORN

Raymond F. Hagedorn, age 90, of Peculiar, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Raymore Cemetery.

Raymond was born to Oscar Hagedorn and Martha (Friday) Hagedorn on March 22, 1930 at home in Monett, Missouri. Raymond was the youngest of seven children. From a young age, Raymond was a dedicated worker no matter the job. He served his country in the United States Army Reserves for over three years. Raymond made a career out of his dedication to law-enforcement working as a Police Officer for the Kansas City Police Department for over twenty-six years before retiring. However, farming was near and dear to his heart as Raymond loved his livestock and loved his John Deer Tractors.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Martha Hagedorn; son, Steven Hagedorn; four sisters; and two brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 61 years, Sue Hagedorn; four daughters, Terrie Hagedorn, Darlene Eiskina (Bill), Vickie Hagedorn, and Susan Hagedorn; son, Tim Hagedorn (Nicole); and five grandchildren, Megan Hagedorn, Brett Eiskina, Jesse Eiskina, Troy Hagedorn, and Ryan Hagedorn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Kansas City Police Department Care Team in care of Jennifer Miller at Violent Crimes Division, 1125 Locust, Kansas City, Missouri 64106.
