RANDY ALLAN NEWELL

Randy A. Newell, age 59, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2018.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Lumber Co. 109 E. Broadway Peculiar, Missouri 64078.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Missouri Department of Conservation ( http://mdc.mo.gov ).

Randy was born on November 9, 1958 in Panama City, Florida. He was the son of Donald Dean Newell and Patty and Ralph Alewel.

Randy had a lifetime of experience in construction sales earning him the much-deserved title of Kansas City's go-to guy for anything stucco, stone or roofing related. He also acted as a self-employed contractor overseeing hundreds of job sites in the Kansas City area over the past forty years. He was an avid sportsman and loved anything involving the outdoors. Hunting was his passion and any morning spent in the woods patiently awaiting that next monster buck, was his own little slice of heaven while here on earth. He had a larger than life personality, his smile was contagious, his laugh was infectious and his ability to be a friend to so many was a true gift. He had a huge heart, loved his children and grandchildren more than life itself and will be deeply missed by many.

Randy is preceded in death by his father Donald Newell.

He is survived by his loving mother and step-father, Patty and Ralph Alewel; son Jeremy Newell (wife Katie); daughter Minden Morrison (husband Shane); brothers Jay Alewel and Scott Newell (wife Heather); sisters Vickey Drehle (husband Terry) and Sheri Higinbotham (husband Mike); three grandchildren Bo Morrison, Brooks Morrison, and Baby Newell; as well as nephews, nieces, and cousins.
