RALPH WILLIAM HUBER, JR.
Ralph William Huber, Jr., 69, of Harrisonville, Missouri passed away April 6, 2012 after a brief battle with Leukemia. Visitation 6-8 PM Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Cullen Funeral Home with funeral services 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at funeral home. Burial will be in Belton Cemetery, Belton, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Kansas City Hope Lodge, 1120 Pennsylvania Ave. KC MO 64105. Ralph was born December 8, 1942 in Portsmouth, VA to Ralph W. and Carol G. (Smith) Huber. He was a 1960 graduate of Center High School and later served in the US Army. He was a longtime resident of Cass County, with 23 of those years in Raymore. He served on the Raymore City Council for 2 terms. Ralph had a very successful career as a trim carpenter for 43 years. Starting out as a small business owner of Bretches & Huber Construction then in 2001 he began Huber and Drury Construction with his son-in-law. Ralph's pride was his ability to make a sheet rock shell into a beautiful home. Ralph was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed the 32 years he spent relaxing with family and friends while at their cabin on the Lake of the Ozarks. He is survived by his wife Nancy of 42 years; daughter, Melissa (Shannon) Drury of Peculiar, MO; son, Chris (Peggy) Huber of Pleasant Hill, MO; brother, Rick; sister, Connie; 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wayne.
