PHYLLIS C. RICHERT

Phyllis C. Richert, age 90, of Peculiar, Missouri passed away peacefully on August 21, 2017 at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rosary and Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at St. Sabina Catholic Church, Belton, Missouri. A Private family Inurnment will take place on Wednesday, August 30th, at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Ave, Belton, MO 64012.

Phyllis was born on August 13, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Charles and Helen Lindgren. On September 20, 1947, Phyllis was united in marriage with George J. Richert. Together, Phyllis and George were blessed with three children, George, Richelle, and Cherie.

As a homemaker, Phyllis lovingly served, supported and cared for her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Sabina Catholic Church in Belton, Missouri.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Lindgren; her husband of 52 years, George J. Richert (April 15, 2000); her siblings, Charles K. Lindgren and Lois P. Lindgren; and daughter-in-law, Pamela Richert.

Phyllis is survived by her children, George Charles Richert, Richelle Ranch (James), and Cherie Bost (James); six grandchildren, Michael (Kelly), John (Sabrina), Jamie (Lauren), Rick (Cassie), Christopher, and Joseph; eight great-grandchildren, Thomas, Sean, John, Alex, Will, Harper, Aidan, and Lily.
