PHILIP P. LICATA
Philip P. Licata, 61, of Raytown, MO, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2013. Phil was born October 12, 1951 in Kansas City, the son of Peter and Clara Licata. Phil was a professional commercial photographer for over three decades and worked with a wide variety of clients and industries in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, including VFW Men's and Ladies Auxiliaries, HCA Midwest Health System, Kauffman Foundation, and numerous others. He loved to travel in the U.S. and abroad and his passion was photography, often bragging that he never worked a day in his life.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, JoMarie (Licata) Greenawalt. Phil is survived by his daughter, Alison Licata; son, Aaron Kruse; mother, Clara Cropis Licata; sister, Rosemary Licata Freeman; four nieces; seven grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Phil touched countless people as father, brother, uncle, papa, friend, mentor and more. He is dearly missed.
