PEGGY G. TENNISON

Peggy G. Tennison, age 85, of Raymore, Missouri passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Central Seventh Day Adventist Church 14651 Peterson Rd., Kansas City, Missouri 64149.

Peggy was born in Naylor, Missouri on January 20, 1941, the daughter of Stanley and Sadie Martin.

Shortly after graduating from high school, Peggy met the love of her life Lloyd Malcolm Tennison, they were later married on July 10, 1957. Together they were blessed with two children, Lloyd Robin and Rhonda Yvonne. In life Peggy and Malcolm owned and operated Farm Aerial Photos. She also spent time working at Switzer Candy Company in St. Louis and in her later years she worked as a greeter at Walmart. Peggy was a longtime member of the Central SDA Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Sadie Martin; and her brother, Leon Martin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Lloyd Malcolm Tennison; son, Lloyd Robin Tennison (Marilyn); daughter, Rhonda Yvonne Weis; brother, Marvin Martin (Kathey); four grandchildren, Christopher Tennison (Jessica), Vanessa Prusia (Jeffery), Collin and Carter Weis; four great-grandchildren, Emmy, McCoy, Griffey, and Saylor; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Central SDA church.
