PEGGY JEAN CARDWELL

Peggy Jean Cardwell, 69, of Belton MO passed away February 8, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Peggy was born September 9, 1945 in Livingston, Montana. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Cardwell; sister, Sally DeWayne; and brother, Loren Piercy. She was a loving and caring Mother, Grandmother, and recently Great-Grandmother. Peggy worked for Richey's Club as a bartender for over 20 years. Both Cecil and Peggy were deeply grateful and blessed for all of their dear friends at Richey's Club, and considered them all a part of the family. She truly loved going to work every day because of them. Peggy is survived by her daughter Kimberly Barber of Belton, MO; son, James Barber of Portland, OR; granddaughter, Mandy Lynn Menge and her husband Matthew; and great-grandson, Mason of Peculiar, MO. Her kind and generous nature will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know her, but her spirit and memories made, will always be with us. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on February 28, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Richey's Club, 11527 Hickman Mills Dr. Kansas City, MO.
