Peggy Ann Bridges, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away on July 24, 2025 in Raymore, Missouri, at the age of 75.
She was born on May 15, 1950, to John Hadley Rich and Margaret Dale (McEntire) Rich. Peggy joined her older sister, Susan, and together with their cousin Paulette, spent their childhood exploring Jefferson City, surrounded by the sound of their fathers' music, a love that stayed with Peggy throughout her life.
On December 20, 1970, Peggy married her high school sweetheart, Lewis Z. Bridges, Jr., who survives her. They were married for 54 years and shared a loving relationship that spanned over 60 years.
The couple eventually settled in Lake Ozark, Missouri, where Peggy became a successful business owner. She also dedicated many years as the children's choir director at Lake Ozark Christian Church, serving alongside her close friend Betty.
Peggy is survived by her husband Lewis and their three children:
• Matthew (Heather) Bridges of Loch Lloyd, Missouri
• Ryan (Jessica) Bridges of Lake Ozark, Missouri
• Stephanie (Michael) Kulas of Mexico, Missouri
She was a devoted grandmother to Emma, Caleb, and Madeleine Bridges; Elanor and Nicholas Bridges; and Penelope, Theodore, Matilda, and Arthur Kulas.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Rich; her sister, Susan McClain; and her brother-in-law, Joseph McClain.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Lake Ozark Christian Church.
A service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held Saturday August 9, 2025 at Lake Ozark Christian Church. Visitation 10AM-12PM with service at 12PM.
