PATRICIA KAY HERD

Patricia K. Herd, age 77, of Belton, Missouri, passed away on August 30, 2018 at the Belton Medical Center.

Patricia was born on April 9, 1941, in Barry County Missouri.  She was the daughter of Joe Williams and Dorothy Mae Baker.

Throughout Patricia's life she was a homemaker, and in the late spring of 1963 she entered into marriage with her husband Thomas Herd on May 1 ^st in Monett Missouri.  Together Patricia and Thomas were blessed with two daughters, Robbin and Kelly. Outside of being a devoted wife and mother, Patricia especially enjoyed researching the family genealogy, gardening flowers especially violets, and loved reading mysteries. Patricia also loved birds, especially doves. All of the family will say that Patricia was a great cook. She loved to sing when in the kitchen or hanging clothes on the line. Ecclesiastes Chapter  1 verses 1-8 was among her favorite bible verses

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Dorothy Williams.

She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years, Thomas; two daughters Robbin Keen (James) and Kelly Brashers (Dale); two brothers Tom Williams (Caroline) and Joe Carol Williams (Jane); two sisters Peggy Cornell (Max) and Janie Cornell; five grandchildren Britteny, Nathaniel (Brittany), Darin (Kayla), Jacob, and Noah; and five great grandchildren James, Natalie, Olivia, Johannah, and Gavin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cullen Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. A Memorial Service will be held on September 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Sweetwater Baptist Church, 16737 State Hwy H, Neosho, Missouri 64850.
