NORVELLE LOUISE NADINE AHART

Norvelle L. Ahart, age 83, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away surrounded by her loving family members on Friday, September 13, 2019.

A visitation service will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. A graveside service will follow at 4:30 p.m. at the Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.

Norvelle was born on July 9, 1936 in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Ralph  Choate and Louise (Starkey) Choate. Growing up, Norvelle had two brothers, Sonny and Bernie. After graduating high school, Norvelle entered the work force and on April 12, 1954 she was joined in marriage with her late husband, Harold Ahart. Together, Norvelle and Harold were blessed with two children, Gene and Debra. Later in life to be blessed with grandchildren and great grandchildren. For thirteen years, Norvelle worked at Marion Labs in Kansas City, Missouri as a Quality Control Manager. In life, Norvelle loved gardening, floral arranging, and decoupage artwork.

Norvelle was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-four years, Harold Ahart; parents, Ralph and Louise Choate; and brother Sonny Choate.

She is survived by her son, H. Gene Ahart; daughter Debra Burton (Ron); three grandchildren, Kenneth Meisenheimer Jr., Priscilla Morgan (Cameron Reed), and Crystal Meisenheimer; six great grandchildren, Mackenzie Morgan, Cole Morgan, Landon Reed, Grant Reed, Peyton Meisenheimer, and Easton Meisenheimer; and brother Bernie Choate (Betty).
