NORMA J. ULLEDAHL

Norma Jeane Ulledahl, 73, passed away on January 11, 2013 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.

Norma, born January 26, 1940 to William and Mildred Austin, graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1959. She met the love of her life, Vernon D. Ulledahl, while working at the Federal Aviation Administration and they were married on December 3, 1966.

Norma loved being a full-time mom. She devoted her life to caring not only for her children and grandchildren, but the countless children that she babysat in her home as well as those in her preschool classes at Longview Community College. She was "grandma" and "Miss Norma" to many. Children were her passion and she cared for all of them as if they were her own. She also enjoyed gardening, ceramics, sewing and baking. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched.

She is survived by her husband Vernon Ulledahl, daughter Rhonda Hanke, son Darwin Ulledahl (Chan), daughter Sheryl Reynolds (Chris), grandchildren Dan Ulledahl (Sarah), David Ulledahl, Kindra Hanke, Joe Canzonere, Jennifer Bristow (Michael), Skie Taylor, Kelsey Taylor, Kyle Reynolds, Allisha Reynolds, sisters Betty Reynolds (Jim), Carol Benjamin and several great grandchildren.

Visitation, funeral service to follow, will be held on Wednesday January 15th at Lord of Love Lutheran Church in Belton, MO from 10am-11am, services begin at 11am and a luncheon will follow.

The family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Operation Breakthrough of Kansas City, MO in lieu of flowers.
