NORMA L. MEADOR

Norma L. Meador, age 89, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a burial at Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland, Missouri.

Norma was born in Lynn County, Kansas on February 8, 1932 to Glen E. Miller and Laura Rhynerson. Shortly after graduating high school, Norma was joined in marriage with her late husband, Donald L. Meador Sr. on July 19, 1952 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Together they were blessed with three children. Norma worked at home raising her children and caring for her family. In life she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and cherished the time spent with family.

Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald L. Meador, Sr.; parents, Glen E. Miller and Bessy E. Miller; daughter in law, Beatrice E. Meador; and grandson, Marvin Troy Shaw.

She is survived by her three children, Donald L. Meador, Jr., Thomas R. Meador, and Tina D. Hickam (Danny); brother Eugene Miller (Bonnie); two sisters, Marilyn Kay Jenkins and Virginia Glaze; eleven grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Troy Shaw Memorial Scholarship Fund. Checks should be made out to Belton Educational Foundation with Troy Shaw Memorial Scholarship Fund in the memo.
