NORMA SUE LATINI

Norma Sue Latini passed away on June 29, 2024. Norma was born on March 9, 1939 to Ralph and Zeta Hall in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the eldest sister to Cindy (Bob) Deines; Shirley (Ben) Porras and Donna (Gary) Lane. She is predeceased by her father, mother, husband and sister Donna. Left to mourn are her sons Tom (Sandra) of Grandview, Missouri; Mark (Courtney) Belton, Missouri and Mindy Zhu of Kansas City, Missouri and her children Duo and Susan (Paul). Grandchildren Allan, Bradley, Jackson, Pearce (Allecia) and Nikole. Great grandchildren Kaiden, Taven and Leland, Lee; her sisters Shirley and Cindy and many nieces and nephews. Norma and her husband were married in Grantsburg, Wisconsin on July 13, 1963. Norma and her husband lived in several towns in Iowa before moving to Canada. They lived in Canada from1980 to 1987. They then moved to Moorhead, Minnesota. It was after her husbands passing in 1989 that she moved back to Kansas City. There she hosted many foreign exchange students from around the world. She truly enjoyed their company and learning about their culture. Her passion was music. Norma was a music teacher and taught at many schools and also music lessons to children in her home. She had a master's in music education and was a successful musician who could play and teach all band instruments. Norma was an organist and music director of numerous churchs over the years. She also owned and operated many piano and organ stores.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held on July 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Cemetery in Buhl Minnesota.
