Neva Fay Fox, age 96, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Harrisonville, Missouri.

A Burial will take place at Eureka Cemetery in Conway, Missouri on a later date.

Neva was born on June 26, 1924 in Solo, Missouri and graduated from high school in Conway, Missouri as valedictorian of her class. Her first job was as a teacher at Klondike Grade School, the same school she attended as a child. After moving to Kansas City, Missouri, Neva worked as a cashier for various stockbrokers for thirty-three years and worked part time in the insurance industry for ten years until retiring in 2000. She then moved to Springfield, Missouri and transferred her membership from the Santa Fe Hills Baptist Church in Kansas City to the High Street Baptist Church in Springfield. She moved to Raymore, Missouri in 2019.

Neva was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Phronia Barker; first husband, William Wilson; second husband, Joe Fox; sons, Bill and Don Fox; brothers, Norman and Bob Barker; sister, Patsy Castillo; and niece, Sandy Hayward.

She is survived by her daughter in law, Pat Fox; grandsons, Chris Fox and wife, Melissa, and Jamie Fox and wife, Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Mason Fox; sisters, Nadine Hayward and Phyllis Vold; nieces, Marilyn Singleton and Janet Gruenwald; and nephew, Billy Joe Hayward.
