NATE W. BOGARD

Nathaniel "Nate" W. Bogard, age 40, of Peculiar, Missouri passed away January 3, 2017 at Belton Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m., with visitation from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7 at First Baptist Church of Raymore, 116 S Washington St, Raymore, MO 64083. Burial will take place at Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri. In lieu of flowers please send donations in the name of Ashley Bogard for the college fund that is being established for Hannah and Brock, c/o PO Box 931 Raymore, MO 64083.

Nate was born August 18, 1976 in Kankakee, Illinois. He was the son of Bobby Joe and Cindy (Friant) Bogard. On June 18, 2011 Nate was united in marriage with Ashley Howard and together they shared the blessing of two children, Brock and Hannah.

Nate loved and supported his family as an installer for SVB Wood Floors Inc. of Grandview, Missouri. He specialized in hardwood flooring for over 24 years and he was great at his trade.

He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Ashley L. Bogard; children, Brock and Hannah Bogard; parents, Bobby Joe and Cindy Bogard; brothers, Jacob and Matthew Bogard; grandmother, Dorothy Howard; father and mother-in-law, Tommy and Maria Howard; sister-in-law, Rosie and her husband, Shawn Hawk; four nieces and nephews, Danica, Kaiden and Jacoby Bogard, and Parker Hawk.

He was an avid fisherman and a lifelong Chicago Cubs and Bears fans. He was a selfless, gentle man who was loved by many. His unforgettable smile and warm presence is what will be remembered and missed the most.
