NANCY ANN NOLL VALLANCE

Nancy Ann Noll Vallance, 78, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2026.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. A eulogy by a family friend will follow at 5:00 p.m.

Nancy was born on August 29, 1947, in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, to Clarence I. Noll and Almeda (Wolfersberger) Noll. She graduated from high school and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Services and a Master’s of Science in Education with a specialization in Special Education. Nancy devoted many years to teaching special education and was once nominated for Teacher of the Year in Virginia by her students and fellow teachers.

Nancy found joy in many things throughout her life. She was a master gardener, an avid reader who enjoyed thousands of books, and, above all, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Almeda Noll, and her brother, William Irving Noll.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Jim Vallance; her children, Kristie Lynn Robinson (John Derek), Phillip James Vallance (Carrie), and Kelly Ann Evans (Collin); and her five grandchildren, Miles Robinson, Aiden Evans, Molly Robinson, Lola Vallance, and Iris Vallance.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Penn State C. I. Noll Award for Excellence in Teaching, established in honor of her father, Clarence I. Noll, and especially meaningful to Nancy as an educator. Both Nancy and her husband, Jim, were proud Penn State alumni, making this tribute a fitting way to honor her life and her family’s legacy in education.
