NANCY MAE CLUTTER

Nancy Mae Clutter, age 90, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Cullen Funeral Home, Inc., 612 W. Foxwood Dr., Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Belton Cemetery, Belton, Missouri.

Nancy was born at home in Marlborough, Kansas City, Missouri on October 16, 1935, the daughter of Edward B. McCauley and Bernice Dale. Between their junior and senior year of high school they eloped and Nancy married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Ray Clutter. Together they were blessed with three children, Sandy, Timothy, and Robert (Duce). In life, Nancy worked for the Belton school district in the school cafeteria for many years. Shortly after she was a secretary/office manager for the Holmesdale Convalescent Center. Nancy and Bob loved to travel and see the country. She was thrilled to have spent time touring Ireland. They were members of the Retreads Motorcycle Club and H.O.G. Club. She loved spending time at the lake riding the pontoon, but most of all she was an avid storyteller. Nancy loved spending time with all her 41 grandkids. She made every one of them feel special. She was raised in the Baptist faith and will be missed by all.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Bernice McCauley; her loving husband of 71 ½ years, Robert “Bob” Ray Clutter; and her brother, Bud McCauley.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Sandy Clutter, Timothy Clutter (Becky), and Duce Clutter (Doris); nine grandchildren, Ryan Clutter (Nikki), Scott Clutter (Corena), Jaimi Shields (Ryan), James Clutter, Cathy Clutter, Briley Clutter Giamalva, Danny Clutter, Jessica Chai (Aaron), and Janell Huff; twenty-eight great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
