MORTON HOLMES, JR.
Morton Holmes, Jr., 80, of Overland Park, KS passed away August 1, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be 6-7 PM Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Cullen Funeral Home. Morton was born March 10, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Morton and Jessie Mae (Struthers) Holmes, Sr. Morton was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Darlene Teter. He is survived by his three children, Andy Holmes, Cindy Ingram and Julie Holmes; and one grandson, Clayton Ingram. Morton was an avid tennis player and was a member of the Midtown Racquet Club. He also served in the US Army Reserves. He will be remembered by his positive outlook on life, his kindness and generosity, and his happy and loving nature, as well as being a cherished and beloved dad and a proud parent.
