MIRIAM Z. SANCHEZ
Miriam Z. Sanchez, 92, of Raymore, Missouri passed away May 17, 2011. She was born September 25, 1918 in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Walter and Martha
Zercher Heisey. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Grandview Assembly of God Church 12400 Grandview Rd. Grandview, Missouri. Memorials may be made to Youth with a Mission. Miriam dedicated many years of her life doing missionary work with Youth with a Mission in the Dominican Republic. Part of that time she spent as coordinator of translators for the M/V Anastasia Mercy Ship. She loved nature and enjoyed pressing flowers; this went from a hobby to a small business in which she created T-shirts, bookmarks, book bags and greeting cards. She is survived by her former spouse Carlos and three sons, Bryan and wife Sofi of Hudson, WI; Stewart and wife Jessie of Weston, MO; and Gaulle and wife Teresa of Belton, MO. She leaves behind eight beautiful grandchildren whom she adored.
