MILDRED B. HAEFNER

Mildred B. Haefner, age 77, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on November 9, 2016 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2016 at Cullen Funeral Home, a Graveside service will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Peculiar Cemetery, Peculiar Missouri.

Mildred was born September 7, 1939 in Macon, Missouri. She was the daughter of Ellis and Nannie (Jackson) Waddle. Mildred was a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend. Mildred worked outside the home for 30+ years at Western Electric. She went on to work as a Department Manager for AT&T until her retirement. After retirement, she continued her work at City Hall in Peculiar, Missouri.

Mildred was a member of the Eagles Lodge #4146. She was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary, donating both her time and resources to various children's charities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Bernice Waddle; and her husband of 48 years, Howard F. Haefner.
She is survived by her sons, Benny Cook (Ann), and Kenny Cook; daughters, Tammi Barber (Chris), and Nancy Haefner (Cary); 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

"In lieu of minister" words of remembrance are welcome at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Eagles Lodge #4146/Ladies Auxiliary, 314 S. Washington St. 64083.
