MICHAEL L. McGREW

Michael L. McGrew, age 63, of Raymore, Missouri passed away peacefully at the Kansas City Hospice House surrounded by his loving family on August 20, 2024.

Michael was born in Westmoreland, Kansas on October 20, 1960, the son of Donald L. McGrew and Judith Brock. After graduating from DeVry University with his associate degree, Michael pursued his career as an Information Technology Manager for SS&C Tech for many years. He met the love of his life, Sharon L. Hafits and later were married on September 2, 1990. Michael was a work-acholic, but in his spare time he loved to go fishing and watch sports like KU basketball and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Judy McGrew; sister, Patty Nelson; two nieces, Kristi and Madison McGrew; and great nephew, Grayson Nelson.

He is survived by loving wife of 34 years Sharon L. McGrew; brother, Rick McGrew (Tamera); sister, Cathy McGrew; nieces and nephew, Stephanie Dark, Bailey McGrew, and Aaron Nelson; and great niece and nephew, Colby Dark and Sawyer Nelson.
