MICHAEL STEVEN DAMRON

Michael Steven Damron, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2021.

Michael, who preferred to go by his middle name, Steven, was born in Compton, California on August 15, 1956, to Lloyd Carlton Damron and Evelyn Juanda Damron (Logan). After being born and raised in Southern California, Steven took to the road as a commercial truck driver where he saw nearly all of the country.

He was joined in marriage with his wife Julie (Moorman) on August 15, 1987. Together they started a loving family with two children, Carl and Rita. From that point on, Steven never missed a soccer, baseball, or volleyball game. He passed down his warped sense of humor and quick wit and instilled a love of great music and even better food. He could strike up a conversation with anyone, and it was known that any "quick call" would be sure to last at least 30 minutes.

Services will be held in a non-traditional matter at a later date as Steven always put others first and never wanted to be the center of attention. In lieu of flowers, the family just asks that you honor his memory by enjoying a home cooked meal with your family, as that was one of Steven's favorite things to do.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Julie; son, Carl; daughter, Rita; and brother David.
