MARY L. TURNER

Mary L. Turner, age 85, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Burial will take place at Raymore Cemetery in Raymore, Missouri.

Mary was born in Alton, Missouri on June 15, 1935 to Thomas J. Archer Sr. and Nellie L. (Staires) Archer. Mary graduated from Raymore High school and soon after was joined in marriage with her late husband William "Bill" Turner on January 4, 1957. Together they were blessed with one daughter, Tammy. Mary worked for over forty-five years as a shipping clerk for Solo Cup. In life she loved to spend her time reading, gardening, working in the yard, and traveling.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill Turner; parents, Thomas Archer Sr. and Nellie Archer; three brothers, Thomas Archer Jr., Jimmy L. Archer, and Harlin Archer; and twin sister, Merle Paxton.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Tammy S. Turner; and two sisters, Anna Lou Archer and Jane Archer.
