Mary was born November 11, 1919 in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Pavol Jablonovsky and Anastazia Lederleitnerova. She came to the United States in 1937 and spoke often of how much she loved working as a waitress at Rockefeller Center. Widowed in 1953, she was determined to raise her sons on the farm, growing crops and raising cattle up until the last few years. Two years ago one of her last joys was to drive her tractor on a 100 degree day for her son and grandson while they put up hay. Mary became known for her large picnics for 50 or more people. She would cook for days in preparation so she could entertain and celebrate life and her faith with family, friends, priests and nuns. Spiritual, spirited and one tough lady, she survived being run over by her tractor and wagon at 75 and pinned under her tractor in a creek bed for over 2 hours at 85. She was member of Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church, but she also spread her passion for her faith in numerous other parishes. Mary was very active for many years in Serra Club, Seton Center, Kaleidoscope, and Altar Rosary.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur; brother, Frantisek Jablonovsky and sister, Julia Porkertova. Mary is survived by her sons, Paul Mudd and wife Kathy, Michael Mudd and wife Linda; brother, Augustin Jablonovsky; sister, Irena Jablonovska; grandchildren, Nichole, Melissa, James, Vincent and Lanay; great grandchildren, Makayla, Brianna, Lucas, Caleb and Dylan.
