MARY ANN DAY

Mary Ann Day, age 91, formerly of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully at Cedarhurst Nursing Home, Independence, Missouri, on May 12, 2026.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Drive, Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Cemetery, 6912 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri.

Mary Ann was born in Kansas City, Missouri on May 19, 1934, the daughter of LeRoy and Mary (Pippenger) Abbas. In 1954 Mary Ann married Harold L. Day, Sr. of Raytown, Missouri. In approximately 1956 they moved to Raymore, Missouri, where they resided until Harold passed away in July of 2011.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Mary Abbas, her husband of 47 years Harold L. Day, Sr., and her brother, James Abbas.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Janice Bowers (Wayne), Joan Barnett, and Harold L. Day, Jr.; four grandchildren, Kristina Millslagle (Chip), Cassidy Barnett, Evan Daniels-Day (Lukas), and Elijah Day; four great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
