Mary Blackley, 80, of Independence, Mo passed away Monday, April 1st, 2013 at KC Hospice House. Graveside service 3 PM Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. She was born November 7, 1932 in Gilman City, MO to Oliver and Loree Lovell. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Richard and her brother Carl Lovell. She is survived by her son Stan Blackley and wife Teresa; Belton, MO; daughter Nancy Lauber and husband Tom, Independence, MO; sister Louise Terhune and husband Chester, Kansas City, KS; five grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Emily, Stuart, Henry and four great grandchildren, Micah, Memphis, Jude and Elijah. She was cremated and a graveside service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers donations to KC Hospice House would be appreciated. Grandma, thank you for loving to play board games with us. We will miss your political commentary. We miss and love you!
