MARTIN LEE MCCRARY
Martin Lee McCrary, 65, passed away on September 8, 2026. He was born March 24, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the beloved son of Bill and Bobbie McCrary and made his home in Birmingham, Missouri.
Marty had a deep passion and love for helping others and was known for his generous spirit, kind heart, and unwavering willingness to lend a hand. Whether through acts of service, words of encouragement, or simply being present for those in need, he touched countless lives. He also found great joy in gardening, carefully tending the plants he nurtured and sharing the fruits of his labor with neighbors, friends, and family.
A proud graduate of Park University, Marty earned his Master of Social Work degree in 2017. He dedicated his professional life to supporting and uplifting others, reflecting the values that guided him every day: empathy, service, and the belief that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
Marty cherished time spent with family and friends, finding happiness in life's simple moments and meaningful connections. He was also a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan, cheering enthusiastically through every season. Few celebrated more passionately as the Chiefs captured the win at three Super Bowls.
Surviving family: daughter Jackie Keener (Joey) son Jerid McCrary (Haleigh); daughter Tabatha McCrary, brother Timothy McCrary (Deborah), sister Becky Haskamp (Mark), granddaughters Stella, Memphis and Delilah and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Marty's legacy lives on through the kindness he shared, the friendships he cultivated, and the countless lives he impacted. He will be remembered for his warm heart, selfless generosity, and the steady presence he provided to everyone, fortunate enough to know and love him.
Visitation will be held on Monday 10/12/2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cullen Funeral Home - 612 W Foxwood Dr, Raymore, MO 64083
Graveside Service will take place Tuesday, October 13th, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens – 25203 E US Highway 50, Lee’s Summit, MO 64086
