MARTHA ALICE McKARNIN
Martha Alice McKarnin, 82, of Belton, Missouri passed away December 10, 2012 at Kansas City Hospice House. She was born February 28, 1930 in Columbus, Missouri, the daughter of John and Mattie Fitch Simmons. Funeral services 3:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 2-3 PM. Burial Belton Cemetery. Martha was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church. She was a Cass County election judge. She was a secretary for many years at Imco Container Company and retired from Mar-Kay Plastics. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers John, Chester, Albert, Glen, Jesse, and Kenneth; daughter-in-law Raylene McKarnin; and her husband Lyman "Jack". She is survived by her son, Patrick McKarnin and wife Karen; grandchildren, Blair and Taryn McKarnin and Matthew Stauss. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114 in memory of Martha McKarnin.
