MARK DENNIS SCHWARTZ
Mark Dennis Schwartz, 72 of Raymore, MO, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness at St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by his family Sunday, December 29, 2024. He was born on October 5th, 1952, in Kansas City, MO to Clifton (Cliffy) & Mary Jane Schwartz (nee Antone). He graduated in 1971 from Raytown High School in Missouri.
He was an avid bowler, fisherman, race car enthusiast, a diehard Kansas City Royals & Chiefs fan. However, more than anything he loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed his children and grandchildren's family pets. He made many great memories fishing, bowling, and racing with both his family and friends.
He was a beloved Son, Grandson, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, Uncle, Dad, Papa and Friend. He took great joy in teaching both his children how to bowl and fish. As the family grew, much time was spent going racing and fishing with his daughter and her family at various lakes throughout southern Missouri. His son and son-in-law could occasionally be convinced to go fishing and took him on a few fun-filled trips to Lake of the Ozarks. While many holidays were spent together, Christmas was especially a fun and memorable time for the family. Mark had a big heart and always wanted to be able to do more for both his children and grandchildren.
Mark worked for Butler Manufacturing, later known as Blue Scope Steel, for 43 years, retiring in 2020.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Clifton (Cliffy) & Mary Jane Schwartz and grandson, Alek Dieckman.
Mark is survived by his loving Children, Michelle Dieckman of Clermont, FL, Adam Schwartz (Jon Brolhorst) of Raymore and Carrie (Steven) Farmer of Nixa. Grandchildren Kela Dieckman, Jordan, Emilia "Mia" and Jacob Farmer. Brother Ronald Schwartz (Mary) Gravois Mills, and a host of extended family and friends.
