MARJORIE SUE THOMAS

Marjorie Sue Thomas, age 85, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Menorah Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas.

Marjorie was born in King City, Missouri on January 17, 1937 to Alvah Marion Huff and Susan (Rose) Huff. In life Marjorie was a faithful member of Abundant Life Church in Lee's Summit, Missouri. She loved her restaurants and was well known for leaving little devotionals behind there attached to candies.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clayton D. Thomas; parents, Alvah Marion and Susan Huff; brother, Jerry Huff; and daughter, Linda Ganey.

She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa Lininger and Mia Cottingham (Charles); sister, Julia Huffman (Larry); nine grandchildren, Lacie (Jeremiah), Eric (Carly), Misty, Samantha, Aaron, Stephen, Briana, Asa, and Clover; fourteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
