MARJORIE NADINE RAY

Marjorie Nadine Ray, age 89, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held on a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler, Missouri.

Marjorie was born in Independence, Missouri on August 16, 1934 to Maurice and Mary Smith. Marjorie graduated high school and was joined in marriage with her late husband Rodney on October 9, 1953. Their union was blessed with three children. In life, Marjorie was a woman of Methodist faith and for many years attended the Virginia Methodist Church with her husband up until his passing. Marjorie loved playing cards with friends and found the most joy when she was spending time with her beloved family. Following Rodney's passing, Marjorie also filled some of her time working part time for Shelter Insurance in Raymore, Missouri which she very much enjoyed.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Rodney Ray; parents, Maurice and Mary Smith; and three sisters, Irene, Faye, and Mildred.

Cherishing Marjorie's memory are her three loving children and their spouses; Tammy Bowers (Emery), Kevin Ray (Kay), and Janelle McKinley (Richard); six grandchildren, Laura Ray, Angela Ray, Elizabeth Johnston (Mark), Vince Bowers, Chad McKinley (Maggie), and Kalyn Covington (Shaun); twelve great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
