MARJORIE A. JONES

Marjorie A. Jones, age 75, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away on April 19, 2018, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 26, at Cullen Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 27, at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital (st.jude.org).

Marjorie was born on November 24, 1942, in Grovespring, Missouri. She was the daughter of Oriville and Clara (Snow) Jones.

On December 30, 1961, Marjorie was united in marriage with Ken Dale Jones, Sr.

Together, Marjorie and Kenneth shared in the blessing of two sons, Ken and Keith.

Marjorie lovingly supported her family as a homemaker. She also had a passion for gardening and especially enjoyed growing various flowers.

As a follower of Christ, and a faithful member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Belton, Marjorie taught children's Sunday school and also cared for many little ones in the nursery.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Oriville and Clara Jones; and her sister, Leola Jones.

She is survived by her husband of over 56 years of marriage, Ken Dale Jones, Sr.; her sons, Ken Jones and Keith Jones; one granddaughter, Mackenze Jones; three brothers, Gary Jones, Richard Jones and Randy Jones, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
