MARJORIE LOUISE CAHILL

Marjorie Louise Cahill, age 78, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away November 1, 2016 at Belton Regional Hospital. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, at Raymore Christian Church 500 Peace Dr., Raymore, MO 64083. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Raymore Christian Church or the Fellowship of John, PO Box 701, Raymore, MO, 64083.

Marjorie was born January 9, 1938 in Blue Springs, Missouri. She was the daughter of Merton C. Wheeler and Glee (Owens) Wheeler. On November 27, 1958, Marjorie was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Cahill. Together they were blessed with three children, Julie, Daniel, and Carri.

Marjorie received her Master's Degree in education and was an elementary educator for 29 years. She spent 23 years in the classroom and 6 years as a Principal, all in the Independence School District.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Wilma Lease; and infant daughter, Julie Cahill.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert "Bob" Cahill; son, Daniel and his wife, Cathy Cahill; daughter, Carri and her husband Dr. Jerry Lamb; five grandchildren, Christopher and wife, Kimberly, Kyle, Cameron, Jake, and Madison; brother-in-law, Al Lease; nieces and nephews, Linda Fitzmaurice, Larry Lease, and Louann Lease.
