MARION (MIKE) DAVIS
Marion (Mike) Davis, age 77, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away February 18, 2017 at the home surrounded by his loving family. Private family services with Inurnment in Raymore Cemetery at a later date.
Mike was born July 22, 1939 in Richlands, North Carolina. He was the son of Raleigh M. Davis and Minnie M. Davis. On September 25, 1965 he married the love of his life, Marylin D. Hopper, and together they were blessed with two sons, Michael and David.
Mike was a Retired member of IBEW Local 53 where he earned his 50 year pin. He was a US Air Force Veteran, stationed in Korea after the war during his military service. He was a 32nd degree Mason in the Belton Masonic Lodge 450 and member of A&A Scottish Rite in the Valley of Kansas City Orient of Missouri.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie and Raleigh Davis; two brothers, Marshall Davis and Jimmy Davis all of Richlands, NC.
He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn (Honey) Hopper Davis of 52 years; sons, Michael D. Davis of Raymore, MO and David Davis of Augusta, GA; sisters, Vonnie Cupsta (Frank), Madeline Tucker (Tommy) and Ann Parker (Gerald) of Richlands, NC; brothers, Norwood Davis (Eleanor) and Orville Davis (Dinah) of Richlands, NC; two grandchildren, Christopher Davis of Houston, TX and Kaitlyn Davis of Raymore, MO.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
