Marian was an RN. When her children were young, she worked as a school nurse in Dundee, Illinois. She was a staff nurse at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Iinois where she was certified in oncology. Closest to Marian's heart was her faith and family. She loved taking her children and grandsons on trips including camping and whitewater rafting. Her love for GOD and all of the beauty and wonder of His creation is a heritage she has passes on to her family and others who were blesses to have known her. Because of her belief in Christ, Marian didn't fear death, but looked forward to seeing Jesus and being reunited with family and loved ones.

She is survived by her children George "CY" Meadows, Bill Meadows (Karyn), and Fran Husmann (Kip), two sisters Virginia Highbarger and Kathy Massey, four grandsons, Ben, Kevin and Tom Husmann and Devin Meadows and one great granddaughter Marley Husmann.
