MARGO L. ROGERS

Margo L. Rogers, 69, of Raymore, Missouri passed away January 24, 2013 at her home. She was born May 13, 1943 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph and Sarah Margaret Tate Wilkinson. Margo graduated from Central High School in 1961 and from Northwest Missouri State University in 1965 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She completed her Medical Technology training at Research Medical Center and then worked two years at St. Luke's Hospital followed by eight years at Midwest Research Institute. Margo was married from 1975-1997 during which time she raised two daughters and returned to work at Research Belton Hospital in 1986. She continued to work in the hospital lab until the time of her diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in April of 2012. Ever the optimist, a devotee to her family and friends, a helper to those in need and a true Christian, Margo will be greatly missed. Funeral services 10:30 AM Monday, January 28, 2013 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Raymore, MO with visitation 5-7 PM Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Cullen Funeral Home, burial in Raymore Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Sara Bodnar and husband Scott; Amy Armistead and husband Trey; brother, Gary Wilkinson and wife Jeanne and two grandchildren, Payton and Cael. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or Heartland Hospice.
