MARGIT HARLEMAN

Margit Harleman, age 71, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully at her home on September 6, 2024.

A graveside inurnment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the Belton Cemetery, Belton, Missouri.

Margit was born in Ettlingen, Germany on May 1, 1953, the daughter of Gerald E. Saultz and Greta Pioth. At the age of four, Margit moved to the United States with her mother. She was later adopted by Gerald after he and Greta were married. After graduating high school, Margit worked in the medical field as a Certified Medical Technician for many years. In life Margit was an avid dog lover and loved going to all kinds of festivals like the Renaissance Festival and the Food Festival here in Kansas City.

Margit was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Greta Saultz; and her ex-husband, John Harleman.

She is survived by her four children, Raymond Harleman (Mary), Shawn Harleman, Joel Harleman (Shantina), and Tabitha Burchett-Harleman; her life partner of 24 years, R.J. Chase; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
